Something that I find beautiful that is unexpected is seaweed. I like it because to me the organic shape and texture, and the way it flows underwater makes seaweed seem almost alien like, as if it would be like a normal tree or plant on some alien planet somewhere. The little pods on the seaweed remind me of flower buds and for some reason when I see them I think it would be cool if little small things could live in them.
