Alternate Title: The House of David's

The home of an eccentric man named Norwood Young who decorated the front of his already gaudy house with several statues of David among other such flashy decorations such as gold lion heads and a Venus De Milo.

Just this summer though - the statues (Venus included) have been clothed in 'Thriller Jackets' presumably as a makeshift shrine to Michael Jackson and that - along with the rest of the decor and the wing-wongs and manberries hanging out make it all the more appropriate somehow.

The house was just a few blocks from my old place in LA there and the owner goes all out during the holidays - dressing them up as Santa and giving them gold sparkly foil stoles come Christmas for example.
For those of you who want to visit the place, the address is
304 S Muirfield Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90020 - in Hancock Park at the corner of 3rd and S Muirfield. You cannot possibly miss it.
For those who want to check it out on Google Earth, the coordinates: 34°4'7"N 118°19'42" - you can also check out street view on Google Maps for a shot of the statues without their costumes if you like.
