This is an image of a building that looks to be falling apart in downtown Pomona, but the bricks coming out like this creates an interesting look to the building.
Leaves and small pebbles floating in a water fountain, which would be seen as a dirty fountain, but can also be seen as interesting.
Scar on my friend. Most people would cover up the scar because of how it looks hideous, but she has no problem showing it off to show that she survived cancer.
Almost abandoned shopping center in Pomona. The fact that the shoppes are out of business, therefore their lights are off, helps create an interesting lighting feature with the sky that the neon lights would have taken away from.
Gum removal on the ground shows how much gum has been on the campus at school, which can tell a story.
My left shoe. The dirtiness to the shoe, is actually dried up (and washed out from sweat) blood that came from a bicycle crash halfway during a ride. Even after the crash, I finished the ride. It faded from sweat within a couple rides, but I kept the shoes as reminder of that ride. There is also a tear on the top and side of the shoe where I got attacked from a stray dog from another ride. So this pair of shoes tells stories of bike rides, giving the beauty part to it.
