Week Three Homework

OPTION ONE: Start a daily journal for the next ten days documenting how you create on a daily basis. Keep track of this process all day. REMEMBER, THERE ARE LOTS OF WAYS YOU EITHER ACT OUT OR THINK IN A CREATIVE FASHION- DON'T BOX YOURSELF INTO A PREDETERMINED IDEA OF WHAT IS A CREATIVE THOUGHT OR ACTION.

Helpful suggetions:

  1. Keep records of image and written inspiration that compel you to create or that you have used as reference for your personal/school work.
  2. Notice those moments of visual attraction where you see something in a new fashion or light - this can be actual "seeing" with your eyes, or it can be metephorical, as in understanding somethng in a different way.
  3. Organize this into a single document and export it into a pdf.

OPTION TWO: Write a 10 page investigative paper on one of the three artists in the readings of this week.

  1. Double spaced, 10 pages of text, images on pages following the 10 pages of text.
  2. Cite sources and images.
  3. Check your spelling and grammer!

Due week five – this is your MID-TERM!
